Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 6th Annual

3D and iPS Cell Models for Drug Discovery

Part of 19th Annual World Preclinical Congress

June 16, 2021

Physiologically relevant cell models, that accurately represent human tissue microenvironment and are predictive of clinical outcome, have become crucial for early preclinical drug discovery. Combined with high-content imaging, automated analysis, and high-throughput screening, 3D and iPS cell models promise to improve the drug development pipeline and improve the quality of drug candidates and emerging drug targets. Join cell biologists, tissue engineers, assay developers, screening managers and drug developers at Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 6th Annual 3D and iPS Cell Models for Drug Discovery conference as they discuss strategies to design better spheroid and organoid cell models, co-culture and organ-on-a-chip systems, and iPSC-based models, as well as developing higher throughput assays and automation, high-content analysis, and target discovery.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • High-throughput screening (HTS) with 3D models
  • High-content analysis and imaging of complex cellular models
  • Spheroids and organoids
  • Co-culture models and tumor slice cultures
  • Organ-on-a-chip
  • Modeling disease progression
  • iPSC-based models for screening
  • Cellular assay development and validation
  • 3D printing-based methods to create models
  • New target discovery and validation

The deadline for priority consideration is January 29, 2021.

All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
