Welcome to PharmaWeek!
Are you drowning in information, much of it redundant and little of it insightful? We’re here to help.

More than 40,000 life sciences professionals have come to the hundreds of conferences sponsored by Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) during the past 13 years, and we’ve gotten to know their interests and preferences very well.

If you are anything like the typical CHI customer, things just keep getting busier and you have to keep working more and more efficiently. You need top-line news about some topics but bottom-line analysis about others. That’s where our new e-newsletter, PharmaWeek, can help. Our goal is to channel the information deluge into a manageable stream. We’re not trying to send you all the information you could possibly use, just the right amount to stay ahead of the pack with a minimal time investment.

Each week, we’ll filter out the top three stories in the pharmaceutical world, and place those at the head of the newsletter. You can also choose to get more top news from any or all of these four specific arenas: Business and Markets, Personalized Medicine, Regulatory and Legal, and Technology Platforms. (Just click on the topic to see a definition.) To change the news topics you receive, see the “Your Personalized Headlines” bar in the center your issue of PharmaWeek. On our website, you can find up to 60 days’ worth of archived top news.

In addition to the week’s leading news stories, we’ll bring you in-depth analysis of major industry trends and developments: Each issue will contain one original Exclusive Analysis, CEO Spotlight, Executive Angle, or Moving Up report. These sections will be alternated, in the upper right corner of the newsletter. For these articles we’ll investigate business developments, strategy, deals, the regulatory environment, competitive issues, people in the news, and career development tactics. These exclusive articles will include data, figures, and references that we hope you’ll find useful in your own work. Some of these reports are meant to be challenging and controversial. Please send us your thoughts about them, making sure to let us know if we can publish your comments.

PharmaWeek is a new business unit here at CHI, building from the strength of our conference work to bring you an additional source of valuable information and insights. We look forward to serving you and hearing your comments, news, and story suggestions.

Sincerely,

Malorye A. Branca
