Sanofi Seeks
Research Partners in China |
April
4, 2008--Paris-based
Sanofi-Aventis aims to strike research partnerships with half a
dozen Chinese universities and state-funded laboratories this year,
said Marc Cluzel, Sanofi’s head of R&D, in an interview with
the WSJ. Several big drug companies have announced plans to build
R&D centers in China, but Sanofi prefers to strike
collaborations with existing labs because it wants to tap into the
innovation that already exists in these labs, Cluzel said. Read the The
