Valeant to Cut Nearly Half Its Workforce under Restructuring Plan

May 2, 2008--Valeant Pharmaceuticals International cut 130 jobs in the US and Mexico and plans to further reduce its headcount by another 1,250 positions. According to its Web site, Valeant currently has about 3,000 employees globally. Reuters
