Actavis Recalls Certain Fentanyl Patches

Actavis is voluntarily recalling certain Fentanyl transdermal system patches as a precaution. The recalled patches may have a fold-over defect which has the potential to cause the patch to leak fentanyl gel. Exposure to fentanyl gel may lead to serious adverse events. (2/17) Actavis

Johnson & Johnson also recalled certain fentanyl patches.
